His father Mitsuaki founded Sunny Side Coffee Shop in 1977, right in front of Kisami Ohama Beach.(Closed in 2022) Due to its location right in front of the sea and the fact that there was nothing nearby at the time, we had many foreign customers.
Additionally, many customers who visit the cafe have told us that there are no accommodations nearby that they would like to stay at.
Therefore, we decided to build a cottage that would satisfy foreign customers.He commissioned Honka, a leading manufacturer in Finland in Northern Europe, to import timber from Finland and build his passionate cottage in 1997.
Since 2019, it has been reborn as a cottage where you can stay for just one night.

The owner, Hamaguchi, is a mother raising a son in elementary school.
When I traveled myself, I had a hard time finding accommodations that were fun for families with children, so I want to make sure that families with children have a comfortable stay, and so I stock amenities for children.We have a wide range of toys available, from pretend play sets to Plarail, as well as plastic tableware, toilet seats, and baby chairs.
We hope you will use our cottage to create memories with your children as the period of raising them passes by in a flash.

High quality log houses made in Finland.It is airtight, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.There are two buildings: Topi Building (maximum capacity 6 people) and Consta Building (maximum capacity 8 people).
If you rent both buildings exclusively, you will have a completely private space.
There are no neighbors within a 700m radius, so you can enjoy yourself without worrying about those around you.
It can accommodate up to 14 people, so it's perfect for families or friends.
It can also be used for music training camps.

Sunnyside Cottage is located in the mountains where there is no mobile phone reception.We have WiFi, but we encourage you to take a break from your daily routine and do a digital detox.
